Description

The Tasks Map plugin visualizes all your tasks as an interactive graph, showing how they relate to one another through emoji and link syntax from the Tasks plugin. Each task appears as a draggable node with details like summary, tags, priority emoji, and completion status, while edges represent task dependencies or references. You can filter by tags, mark tasks as complete, and open linked files directly from the graph. The layout automatically organizes nodes using dagre for clarity, and relationships can be deleted by removing the connecting hashes. Built with a modern React Flow interface, it provides a visual and intuitive way to manage interconnected tasks inside your vault.

feat: additional embed controls

This pull request introduces a sidebar to the embedded task map view, adds new configuration options for controlling the display of the view panel and tag visibility, and ensures these options are properly handled throughout the codebase. It also includes tests for the new configuration options and updates the styling to support the new sidebar layout.

[!NOTE] Pre-v1.0: Tasks Map is under active development and has not yet reached v1.0. Interfaces — including the embed format, filter field names, and settings — may change between releases.

Tasks Map is a minimal Obsidian plugin that visualizes your tasks as an interactive graph. It supports both inline checkbox tasks (- [ ] task text) via Dataview and file-based tasks (NoteTask) where an entire note becomes a task through frontmatter metadata. Each task is represented as a node, with edges showing relationships based on special emoji/link syntax.
