New Features
- Week numbers in calendar: Added a new "Week numbers" setting that displays week numbers in the calendar view. You can choose from four calculation methods: ISO 8601, Western traditional, Middle Eastern, or Auto (based on your "Week start" setting). Defaults to off.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed incorrect date replacement when using multiple date formats. Previously, if the cursor was on a date like "05/23/2026" and you selected format 1 (mm/dd) in the modal, only the inner portion "05/23" was replaced, leaving "/2026" as a leftover. Now the widest matching date at the cursor is always used as the replacement target, regardless of which format button is selected. This also applies when the cursor is on a format 1 date and you select format 2 — the matched text is replaced rather than the new date being inserted alongside the old one.
- Fixed an issue where dates outside the current month were not visually dimmed in dark theme.
Minor internal improvements.

Date Inserter

An Obsidian plugin that lets you insert a date at the cursor position using a calendar.

How to use

Insert date to markdown

Place the cursor where you want to insert the date.
Open the calendar using one of the following methods:
- Press the assigned hotkey (recommended).
- Choose Date Inserter: Open Calendar from the command palette.
Select on a date in the calendar to insert it.

[!NOTE] The calendar for this plugin uses vanillajs-datepicker. Please check this link (vanillajs-datepicker > Date String & Format) for format details.

Copy date to clipboard

Open the calendar using one of the following methods:
- Press the assigned hotkey (recommended).
- Select Date Inserter: Copy Date to Clipboard from the command palette.
Paste the copied date wherever you like.
