Description

The Trade Rythm plugin keeps a trading journal inside the vault through a left sidebar panel instead of a separate workspace. It shows trades in a table with sorting, filtering and search, lets you open the linked note and supports inline editing through a dropdown panel. A dashboard tracks total PnL, win rate, best and worst trade and profit factor. New live or backtest entries can be created from commands, with YAML fields quoted for the Properties view. The plugin also adds configurable checklist templates, setup folders for accounts, models, sessions, symbols, order types and grades, structured Before During After callouts and an After Action Report board with three review columns.

Changelog

v1.2.0

Personal trading journal — table view, inline editing, PnL dashboard, checklist templates, draggable lists, and more. Changes

  • Removed the Entry Performance column entirely — from the table, report columns, trade templates, inline editing, and existing journal notes. Trades no longer carry that field.

  • Psychology Tracker is now a Mistakes-style list instead of a plain text: add/remove entries with a click, save as a YAML list in frontmatter, and it's fully inline-editable alongside Mistakes.

  • Bias is now a selection list (Bullish / Bearish / Range) instead of free text — consistent with the other setup pickers, still inline-editable.

  • Guide ('?') modal spacing fix — the property-explanation lines no longer run together, each entry gets breathing room.

Trade Rythm

A minimalist trading journal plugin for Obsidian — designed to live alongside your existing notes, not replace them.

Why Trade Rythm?

Most trading journal plugins demand a complete overhaul of your workflow. Trade Rythm takes a different approach: a clean, unobtrusive sidebar panel that integrates seamlessly with your existing Obsidian vault. Whether you're journaling personal reflections, tracking projects, or managing a trading portfolio — Trade Rythm stays out of your way until you need it.

Simple by design. No overwhelming dashboards, no complex configurations. Just a straightforward table view and essential analytics when you want them. Switch between your trading journal and any other note with a single click.

Features

  • Sidebar panel — opens from the left ribbon, doesn't hijack your workspace
  • Table view — browse all trades, sort, filter, search
  • Inline editing — click any cell to edit via dropdown panel
  • PnL Dashboard — total PnL, win rate, best/worst trade, profit factor
  • Trade creation — one-click new trade with YAML template
  • Checklist Templates — configure your own checklists in Settings
  • Draggable lists — reorder items by dragging

  • Before/During/After callouts — structured trade reflection
  • After-Action Report — 3-column board (What Went Well / Wrong / Improvements)
