The Copilot plugin turns a vault into an AI workspace for search, drafting and research. It lets you chat with notes, query the full vault, run quick edit commands on selected text and build project level context from folders or tags. The plugin also handles content from the web, YouTube, images, PDFs and EPUB files, which makes it useful for comparing sources or pulling ideas into one place. Its Plus features add an agent that can call tools on its own and work with time based queries or image understanding.

The Omnisearch plugin replaces basic vault lookup with a much faster search flow built around relevance ranking. It helps you find notes, PDFs, Office documents and images from one place, with BM25 based scoring that weighs matches in file names, headings and body text. Results appear instantly, typo tolerance is built in and quoted phrases or exclusions make narrowing a query less clumsy. You can jump between vault wide and in file search, insert internal links straight from the results and stay on the keyboard the whole time, including Vim keys if that's your habit. It also exposes an optional local server for querying your vault from outside the app, which makes it useful beyond everyday note finding.

The Private AI Chat plugin enables secure, local AI-powered conversations with your notes using a privacy-first approach. It connects to a locally running LM Studio server, ensuring that all processing happens on your own device without sending data to external services. You can query your vault naturally, with the plugin automatically searching relevant notes and citing them in responses. It allows narrowing the AI's focus to specific open notes for targeted insights and supports performance tuning through adjustable models, search parameters, and token limits. Cross-platform compatibility for Mac and Windows makes it widely accessible, while easy setup and model swapping simplify usage.
