The Better Export PDF plugin extends PDF export with a preview dialog, outline bookmarks, custom margins and page numbers. It lets you add PDF metadata from front matter, keep internal links inside the exported file and control header and footer templates with HTML fragments. Export styling can be adjusted through CSS snippets, including snippets that are not enabled globally. The plugin also handles larger export flows: you can export a folder into one PDF, export each file in a folder as separate PDFs, or drive ordered multi note exports from a table of contents note. It also supports custom page sizes, zero margin one page exports and configurable rendering concurrency for batch jobs.

The Tree Modal plugin changes how files open from the explorer by sending them into a large modal preview instead of the main editor. It keeps the native view header, so switching between read and edit mode still feels familiar. Normal editor opening is not blocked either, because Cmd or Ctrl click can bypass the modal when needed. A context menu fallback is included, which matters if the explorer DOM changes later. Internal links clicked inside the modal continue in the same window, so browsing notes feels continuous instead of jumpy.

The PhraseSync plugin brings smart, automatic internal linking to your notes by suggesting links as you type - no special triggers or prefixes required. It works anywhere in your writing, instantly recognising and recommending links to note titles, headings, and even block references, including multi word phrases and matches that aren't case sensitive. The suggestions adapt in real time as your vault changes, so you always have up-to-date linking options.

The hotkeysplus-obsidian plugin adds a small set of editor shortcuts that speed up common text transformations and line actions. It can switch checklist markers, flip ordered and unordered lists, turn blockquotes on or off and toggle embeds for internal links. It also adds commands for copying the current line or selected lines up or down, inserting a line above or below the cursor and clearing the current line. The feature set stays narrow and keyboard centred. Most actions focus on reshaping plain text without opening menus or changing views, so editing feels quicker when you are moving through notes and cleaning up structure.

The Strip Internal Links plugin simplifies the process of removing internal links from your notes in Obsidian. This is particularly useful when sharing content with others who cannot access your internal note structure. The plugin allows you to either strip links from the entire file or a selected portion, and then choose to replace the content in place or copy the modified version to the clipboard. External links remain intact, ensuring that only the internal references are removed for a clean, shareable output.
