Obsidian plugins with #pdf-export#

The Better Export PDF plugin extends PDF export with a preview dialog, outline bookmarks, custom margins and page numbers. It lets you add PDF metadata from front matter, keep internal links inside the exported file and control header and footer templates with HTML fragments. Export styling can be adjusted through CSS snippets, including snippets that are not enabled globally. The Cornell Marginalia plugin brings Cornell style side notes into the editor by rendering cue text in the page margin from inline syntax such as `%%> ... %%`. It supports bidirectional margins, semantic colour coding through prefixes, grouped margin blocks for complex layouts, image based marginalia and a sidebar explorer that can scan the current file or the whole vault. The plugin also adds an active recall mode that blurs marked answers until hover, a flashcard generator, PDF print preparation and restore commands, and drag based integration with Canvas or Excalidraw through native block links. The Excalidraw Extras plugin is a companion package for the main Excalidraw plugin rather than a standalone tool. It pulls heavy dependencies and higher privilege operations out of the core package, including MathJax to SVG rendering, Mermaid conversion, PDF printing and APIs that need file system, network or Electron IPC access. That split keeps the main drawing plugin smaller and within stricter community security limits, while still letting advanced features load when they are actually needed.

This tool simplifies the process of compiling interconnected notes into a cohesive format, preserving the structure through links. Users can generate books from the entire vault or specific folders and have options for customization through plugin settings. The plugin also provides commands to manage and remove generated books, making it a versatile tool for publishing or archiving content.

The Obsidian Mobile PDF Exporter plugin exports notes from mobile and desktop into PDF, DOCX, PPTX, PNG and self contained HTML while keeping native text, embedded images, links and much of the rendered layout. It opens an export panel before each run with controls for page size, orientation, margins, content scale, headers, footers, color mode, export mode, output location and whether to open the result after saving. The plugin works from the active reading or editing surface, preserves Markdown styling, tasks, tables, quotes, callouts, code blocks, math, embeds and NoteDraw content, and writes a selectable PDF text layer with matching visuals. Direct .excalidraw.md files can be exported as image PDFs, and full CJK text export depends on a local font file when the embedded subset is not enough.
