A rendered side panel lets you inspect the full note before inserting the link. When selected, it creates a wikilink with an alias based on the matching sentence or heading, which makes links more readable in running notes. It also supports keyboard navigation, click to dismiss behaviour, live index updates after file changes and Chinese pinyin input without breaking the selection flow.
