Obsidian plugins with #screenwriting#

The Fountain support plugin brings robust screenwriting features to your notes by supporting the Fountain markup format. It provides syntax highlighting, a near-print preview with options to hide notes and synopsis, and an editable index card view for planning scripts. Writers can mark notes as todos, view a table of contents with integrated todos and synopsis, and use rehearsal mode to blackout a character's dialogue for practice. The Obsidian Fountain Editor plugin brings Fountain syntax formatting into the editor and lets markdown notes opt into screenplay formatting through a .fountain.md extension, a fountain frontmatter tag or a fountain CSS class. It supports a hybrid writing flow where Fountain and markdown can sit together in the same note, so screenplay structure and regular note content can be interleaved without switching files or editors. The plugin exposes CSS variables for each syntax token, which makes visual styling adjustable at a detailed level.
