The TODOseq plugin turns keyword marked lines in your notes into a unified task system without relying on checkboxes. It recognises states like TODO, DOING, DONE, LATER, NOW and WAIT, supports priorities and dates, and converts natural language schedules such as today, tomorrow, every Friday or daily 20:00 into structured task data. The task list collects items from across the vault in a searchable, sortable sidebar with filters for state, priority, date and tags, and advanced boolean queries. Tasks can be toggled from Edit mode and Reader view, extracted from code comments in more than 20 languages, embedded into notes through todoseq code blocks, and extended with subtasks, repeating schedules, CLOSED date tracking and experimental Org mode file support.
