The Omnisearch plugin replaces basic vault lookup with a much faster search flow built around relevance ranking. It helps you find notes, PDFs, Office documents and images from one place, with BM25 based scoring that weighs matches in file names, headings and body text. Results appear instantly, typo tolerance is built in and quoted phrases or exclusions make narrowing a query less clumsy. You can jump between vault wide and in file search, insert internal links straight from the results and stay on the keyboard the whole time, including Vim keys if that's your habit. It also exposes an optional local server for querying your vault from outside the app, which makes it useful beyond everyday note finding.

The Quick Switcher++ plugin expands the default switcher into a broader navigation hub for moving through notes, headings, symbols and open editors without leaving the keyboard. It adds dedicated modes for workspaces, bookmarks, commands, related items and even vault switching, so one search surface can handle both content lookup and workspace movement. The plugin also surfaces backlinks, outgoing links and nearby files when you want to jump through connected material instead of searching by name. Quick filters, preview controls and custom triggers help shape the result list around the way you work.
