The Paste as File Link plugin simplifies the process of turning selected text into a link to another file within your vault. Instead of manually creating links with aliases, you can copy the name of a note, select any text, and paste. The plugin automatically converts the selection into either a wiki link or a markdown link, depending on your vault's link settings. If there are multiple files with the same name, it prompts you to choose the correct one, and if the clipboard has no valid match, it simply falls back to the normal paste action.
