The Hover Editor plugin turns the standard page preview popover into a usable editor window, so hovering a link can become part of normal note editing instead of a quick peek. It supports reading and editing modes, gives the popover focus, restores focus when closed, and adds a nav bar with title and editor controls. You can drag, resize, pin, and minimize popovers, keep several open at once, and let the active one stay on top. Header links and block references open at the right location, which makes jumping into specific parts of a note much easier.

The Link Opening Restore plugin modifies the default behavior for opening links in Obsidian's edit mode, bringing it closer to the familiar experience found in many other applications and IDEs. With this plugin enabled, users can open internal links by holding the Control key and left-clicking, making navigation more intuitive and consistent with common desktop conventions. This feature enhances usability for those who prefer keyboard-based interactions or come from environments where Ctrl + Click is standard for link activation.
