Retro OS — это тема для Obsidian в стиле nostalgic pastel neo-brutalism: интерфейс операционных систем 90-х (Classic Mac OS / Windows 95) в современной векторной пастельной эстетике.

Retro OS is an Obsidian theme in nostalgic pastel neo-brutalism style: a 90s OS interface (Classic Mac OS / Windows 95) reimagined with modern vector pastel aesthetics.

Light theme Dark theme

Features / Особенности

  • Neo-brutalism: thick black borders (2px), hard flat shadows (3px 3px 0 #000), press-down button effect (translate(2px, 2px)).
  • Pastel palette: vanilla background #F7EFC1, pink/purple titlebars, lime/peach buttons.
  • Windows 95-style titlebar buttons — flat gray square buttons with bevel and classic glyphs (—, □, ✕) for minimize / maximize / close in the Obsidian native titlebar.
  • Light and dark variants.
  • VT323 pixel font embedded as base64 (OFL license) — works offline; fallback for Cyrillic: JetBrains Mono / Consolas / Courier New.
  • DataviewJS dashboards (tracker, tasks, books, auto) styled and readable in both modes.
  • Pixel-style scrollbar, retro tabs, callouts, tags, tables.

Installation / Установка

Community themes (recommended): Settings → Appearance → Manage → search for "Retro OS" → Install → Use.

Manually: download theme.css and manifest.json, put them into a folder .obsidian/themes/Retro OS/ in your vault, then enable the theme in Settings → Appearance.
