The Epiphany plugin enables seamless integration between your Obsidian vault and the Epiphany Voice app, allowing users to quickly transcribe and sync voice notes from their iPhone or Apple Watch directly into Obsidian. It supports sending notes to a default location or creating separate notes for each recording, providing flexibility in organization. The plugin periodically fetches new transcriptions, ensuring your vault stays updated, and includes manual sync options for added control.

The Voice plugin turns notes into spoken audio through a sidebar player that works like an audiobook app, with chapter based playback, repeat modes, speed changes, rewind and forward controls and a mobile player with touch controls. It can read the full note or a selection, save generated speech as MP3 files, embed those files back into notes, and organise saved tracks through folder picking, starring, pinning, moving, renaming and deleting. Voice supports AWS Polly, ElevenLabs, Google Cloud, Azure Speech, OpenAI and MiniMax, with provider specific credentials stored in your own account. It also adds toggles for reading code blocks, spelling acronyms, skipping website URLs and using saved note audio instead of generating a fresh version, while cached audio avoids repeated synthesis until note content changes.
