Obsidian plugins with #telegram#

The Telegram Inbox plugin connects Telegram bots to Obsidian, enabling users to receive messages directly into their daily notes. After setting up a Telegram bot through BotFather and configuring the plugin with the bot token and allowed user IDs, messages sent to the bot are seamlessly added to Obsidian. This integration provides a convenient way to capture and store Telegram messages for organization and reference within Obsidian's note-taking system. The plugin ensures messages are accessible but warns that unreceived messages are stored on Telegram servers for up to 24 hours.

The Telegram Sync plugin allows users to easily transfer messages, voice transcripts, images, and other files from Telegram to their Obsidian vault. By connecting a Telegram bot to Obsidian, users can automatically sync their chat content and save it either as new notes or append it to existing ones. This plugin supports the transcription of voice and video notes for Telegram Premium subscribers, as well as customizable templates for new notes. Additionally, it enables automatic markdown formatting and can even delete processed messages from Telegram to streamline the process.

The Telegram Sidebar plugin embeds Telegram Web inside the sidebar, so chats stay beside your notes instead of in a separate window. It keeps the login session across restarts, lets you choose the Web K or Web A client, and can place the panel on either side of the workspace. You can set a default bot, user, channel or group to open on launch, then use commands to open the panel, reload it or jump straight to that chat. The plugin is desktop only because it depends on an Electron webview, and it stores only local plugin settings while Telegram handles messages and session data through its own web client.
