Obsidian plugins with #metadata-rules#

The Advanced Note Mover plugin routes notes into folders by evaluating rules against tags, frontmatter properties, file names, dates, links, embeds, headings and file extensions. Rules are checked in order, with the first active match deciding the destination and destination paths can be built dynamically from note metadata through placeholders. The plugin also adds blacklist filters so protected folders or note patterns are skipped before any move runs. Manual commands, bulk passes and preview modes are all available and every move is recorded with undo support. It can trigger on save or on a schedule, move referenced attachments alongside the note and include `.canvas` and `.base` files in the same workflow. Import and export support is included for backing up or sharing rule sets between vaults.

The Metadata Validator plugin validates note metadata against manifest driven schemas. It looks for `manifest.md` files inside a `schemes/` folder and applies the closest manifest above each note as that note's schema. Nested manifests inherit from the parent tree, so a base schema can be extended for narrower folders like sources, books or people without repeating every rule. The plugin's model is entirely folder based and depends on keeping those manifest files in the schemes hierarchy.
