The Find Orphaned Images plugin scans a vault for image files that are no longer referenced and gives two ways to deal with them. It can generate a grouped report note with file sizes, totals and either embedded previews or links or open a sidebar panel with thumbnails, paths, sizes, checkboxes and a reclaimable space total before deletion. Reference detection goes beyond note links and embeds. It also checks YAML frontmatter links, canvas content, HTML img tags and legacy Admonitions embeds. Folder include and exclude rules, custom image extensions, report location, delete limits, trash support and a safety scan before deletion make cleanup more controlled. It also exposes commands and an optional ribbon button for quick access.

The attachment uploader plugin uploads local attachments to cloud storage by running a user defined shell command and replacing the local file with the returned network URL. It can be configured to handle only selected attachment formats, delete the original local file after a successful upload and trigger automatically when content is pasted or dragged in from outside the app. The plugin includes ready made command patterns for tools like uPic and Picsee, but it also works with a custom script as long as the command prints the uploaded file URL in its output. That keeps the workflow flexible while leaving storage choice and upload logic under your control instead of locking it to one service.

The Content-Addressed Attachments plugin stores files by their content instead of their original names, so duplicate attachments collapse into a single stored copy and links stay tied to a stable content ID. It can turn pasted or dragged files into IPFS style links, resolve those links through local storage first and fall back to configurable external gateways when needed. Another useful part is web image locking. The plugin can download remote images, verify them with a CID checksum, cache them locally and replace the original links with an internal reference format. It also includes bulk migration commands for existing local attachments and external images, which makes it practical for cleaning up a vault that already has a lot of scattered files.

The Image Manager plugin handles image insertion, renaming, storage and display inside notes. It can pick local files, pull remote images from Unsplash, Pexels and Pixabay, accept paste or drag and drop input and insert links into note content or properties. The plugin can rename files during paste, import and remote conversion, build filenames from templates, prompt for descriptions and avoid duplicate names with automatic numbering. It also converts remote image URLs into local attachments on note open, note save or across the whole vault. Storage rules can follow the default attachment setting or custom paths, and banner images can be shown from properties with separate desktop, tablet and phone settings. Remote search through Pexels and Pixabay needs API keys for those services.
