The Ledger plugin enables personal finance tracking directly within Obsidian, with all data stored securely in plain text. It offers a simple widget for quickly recording expenses, auto-suggestions for past transactions, and seamless integration with Obsidian's Protocol for easy mobile expense tracking. The plugin's features include expense entry, transaction storage, and a dashboard to manage finances, all without relying on external services that compromise privacy. While reporting and account reconciliation features are in development, this plugin provides a self-sufficient way to track finances using the open-source Ledger CLI.
