The Simple Columns plugin makes it easy to organise content into resizable, responsive columns directly inside your notes. With a straightforward markdown syntax and unique IDs for each column, you can split tasks, ideas, or code across columns that adapt to any screen size. The plugin supports both global and per column settings, so you can tweak border style, colour, resizer appearance, background, and text alignment as you wish. Adjust layouts for visual clarity or personal style and reset everything in a click if needed.

The Home Pages plugin turns the workspace into a modular dashboard built on a responsive 12 column grid. It provides configurable widgets for recent notes, quick access, countdowns, Pomodoro sessions, habits, tasks, vault statistics, note embeds, feeds and other information. Cards can be dragged, resized, duplicated or removed, while separate pages support distinct layouts and tab reordering. Dashboard layouts can be imported or exported as JSON. A host API lets other plugins register widgets and views, and JavaScript files in a chosen vault folder can define custom widgets with automatic reload after edits. Layouts, widget state and settings stay in local data without telemetry. Desktop and mobile are supported, with narrow screens adapting the grid for touch controls. The plugin requires Obsidian 1.7.2 or later.
