The Data Entry plugin for Obsidian allows users to transform frontmatter metadata into a user-friendly form for easy data entry. By creating a schema using JSON Schema, users can configure how data is entered and represented within their notes. The plugin supports customization of the form's layout using JSONForms, offering a dynamic and interactive data entry experience. This plugin is particularly useful for users who manage structured data within their notes, allowing them to interact with that data more efficiently. Although still a work in progress, it provides a unique way to automate and streamline data entry within Obsidian.
