Borozdov Glacier

A theme from the Borozdov collection. Two faces — light Birch, a Nordic apothecary in daylight, and dark Fjord, the same shelf at blue hour. Warm white, hairline edges, 2px corners, weightless headlines and one powder-blue plane for what you act on.

Principles

  • Weightless type. The title and every heading at weight 300 with tight leading; the platform's own sans at 400 for the text. Nothing is ever bolded above 600.
  • One muted blue. Powder blue for edges, washes and the open file; slate bloom for a checked task, a toggle and the main button, always with ink text; a deeper slate where the blue has to carry a link.
  • Hairlines, not shadows. Cards, callouts, tables and panels are defined by a 1px edge alone. Nothing casts a shadow, nothing blurs.
  • Squares, one pill. Every corner is 2px; the main button is the only pill on the page.

Features

  • Light and dark modes, following Settings → Appearance → Base color scheme
  • Callouts as white cards with a hairline in the type's colour and a quiet title
  • Pull quotes a size up at weight 300 behind a bloom rule
  • Tags as 2px boxes with a powder rim and no fill
  • Quiet editing: no focus ring around the note, its title or form fields while you type; property names read as labels, not boxed fields
  • Text colours meet WCAG contrast on both faces
  • The phone layout keeps the same colours and shapes
  • No embedded fonts, so the theme stays around 12 KB
  • No !important: every rule can be overridden with a CSS snippet

Installation

From the community directory: Settings → Appearance → Themes → Manage, search for Borozdov Glacier, then Install and use.

By hand: download manifest.json and theme.css from the latest release into <vault>/.obsidian/themes/Borozdov Glacier/, then choose Borozdov Glacier under Settings → Appearance → Themes.

По-русски. Тема из коллекции Borozdov. Два лика: светлый «Берёза» — северная аптека при дневном свете, и тёмный «Фьорд» — та же полка в синий час. Тёплый белый, тонкие края, углы 2px, невесомые заголовки и одна пудрово-голубая плоскость для того, что вы делаете. Шрифты не встроены. Устанавливается из каталога: Настройки → Оформление → Темы → Настроить → Borozdov Glacier → Установить и применить.
