Zoxide Notes (Zoxidian)

An Obsidian plugin that tracks which notes you visit and ranks them using the zoxide frecency algorithm.

Notes you open a lot or opened recently automatically rise to the top of the list in the sidebar. The plugin also adds a quick search modal, similar to Ctrl+O with results ranked by the same frecency score.

Manual installation

  1. Go to Releases and download the zip archive.
  2. Unzip it into your vault's plugin folder: <vault>/.obsidian/plugins/zoxide-notes/.
  3. In Obsidian: Settings → Community plugins → Installed plugins → enable Zoxide Notes.
