Freelance Manager

Manage freelance clients, projects, time logs, and invoices in Obsidian. Plain markdown, no external services.

Features

  • New Client - name, company, email, phone, notes
  • New Project - client dropdown, project name, rate type (hourly/fixed), rate amount, start date, deadline, status
  • Log Time - pick project, hours, date, description of work
  • Generate Invoice - sums all un-invoiced time logs, creates an Invoice note with itemised table, total, and due date
  • Dashboard sidebar - lists active projects with total hours logged and estimated earnings
  • Settings - clients folder, projects folder, invoices folder

Usage

Open the Freelance Manager panel from the ribbon icon. Use the command palette to:

  • Freelance Manager: New Client
  • Freelance Manager: New Project
  • Freelance Manager: Log Time
  • Freelance Manager: Generate Invoice
