Tavernus

Tavernus is an Obsidian plugin that automatically generates detailed and atmospheric Dungeons & Dragons (DnD) taverns directly into your vault. Designed for Game Masters and storytellers, it instantly populates your world with unique establishments, complete with rumors, menus, patrons, and available rooms.

Features

  • Instant Generation: Create a fully fleshed-out tavern with a single click.
  • Dynamic Content: Generates the tavern's name, size, prestige, prices, and current atmosphere.
  • Interactive Menus & Rooms: Automatically builds customized food and drink menus, as well as available rooms, scaled to the tavern's prestige.
  • NPCs & Rumors: Populates the tavern with interesting patrons and local rumors to serve as plot hooks.
  • Bilingual Support: Fully supports both English and Russian languages out of the box.
  • Customizable Dictionaries: Built-in editor allows you to tweak the dictionaries and generation tables to fit your specific setting perfectly.

Quickstart

  1. Installation:
    • Open Obsidian Settings -> Community Plugins.
    • Disable Safe Mode (if enabled).
    • Click Browse and search for "Tavernus".
