Sync Flomo memos into Obsidian. Forked from Watermelon4000/flomo-obsidian-sync.

Plugin ID: flomo-sync-me (folder name must match the ID)

Features

• Monthly merge: all memos in one month are written into a single Markdown file
• Per-year folders: map each year to its own vault path
• Token auth: paste an access token, or use desktop auto-login
• Incremental sync: detect new, updated, and deleted memos; rebuild only affected months
• Format migration: output format changes trigger a full month rebuild automatically

Install

From Obsidian Community Plugins

1. Open Settings → Community plugins
2. Turn off Restricted mode if needed
3. Browse and search for Flomo Sync Me
4. Install and enable

Before the plugin is listed in the directory, install manually or via BRAT.

Manual install

1. Download main.js, manifest.json, and styles.css from the latest GitHub Release
2. Put them into:

Vault/.obsidian/plugins/flomo-sync-me/
  main.js
  manifest.json
  styles.css

3. Enable the plugin under Settings → Community plugins

Build from source

npm install
npm run build

Copy main.js, manifest.json, and styles.css into .obsidian/plugins/flomo-sync-me/.

Usage

1. Access token

Option A — desktop auto-login (recommended)

1. Open plugin settings
2. Click Login
3. Sign in on the Flomo page; the token is captured automatically

Option B — manual copy

1. Open v.flomoapp.com and sign in
2. Open DevTools → Application → Local Storage → me
3. Copy access_token
4. Paste into Access Token in plugin settings (Bearer xxx or raw token both work)

2. Storage layout

1. Set Folder structure to Monthly merge
2. Set Default year folder template (e.g. flomo/{year})
3. Use Add year to override paths for specific years

Example:

After changing year folders, use Reset sync history and sync again.

3. Sync

• Click Sync in settings
• Command palette: Sync now
• Optional: sync on startup or on an interval

Other folder modes

Besides monthly merge:

• By tag
• By date (year/month/day)
• Flat (one file per memo)

Privacy & network

• This plugin calls the Flomo API at flomoapp.com to fetch your memos
• Your access token is stored locally in .obsidian/plugins/flomo-sync-me/data.json; it is not sent anywhere except Flomo
• Desktop auto-login opens v.flomoapp.com in an Electron window
• No analytics or third-party tracking

Platform

Desktop only (isDesktopOnly: true). Auto-login requires the Obsidian desktop app.

Manifest ID rules

Obsidian plugin IDs must use lowercase letters and hyphens only (no digits, no obsidian, must not end with plugin). The folder name under .obsidian/plugins/ must match the ID.

For maintainers

Release checklist:

npm run build
npm run release -- --push

Requirements:

• manifest.json version must match the GitHub Release tag exactly (no v prefix)
• Release assets: main.js, manifest.json, styles.css
• Update versions.json when minAppVersion changes
