Changelog

Ribbon order now stays synchronized with Settings → Interface → Ribbon menu configuration in both directions.

  • Dragging ribbon icons refreshes Obsidian's cached settings list, including when Settings is closed.
  • Reordering in Settings updates the ribbon and saved plugin order without being undone.
  • The latest explicit reorder from either control wins; late-loading and temporarily absent icons retain their saved positions.
  • Native handlers, hidden states and existing preferences are preserved. No new settings or dependencies.
  • Native method wrappers and pending refreshes are cleaned up on unload and layout replacement, preserving other plugins' wrappers.

Verification: TypeScript and production build passed, all 31 behavior tests passed, native Obsidian 1.13.7 ribbon and Settings callbacks passed in isolated fixtures, and all five Obsidian/AnuPpuccin browser variants passed. The browser Settings panel uses a fixture renderer; live Obsidian acceptance, including its separate Settings window, remains manual.

After updating, drag in the ribbon and check the configuration list; then reorder there and check the ribbon. Repeat after restarting and reloading a ribbon-adding plugin.

For manual updates, replace main.js, manifest.json and styles.css, keeping your existing data.json. The ZIP contains those three runtime files in a collapsible-ribbon folder.
